Where it all started

How Open Heart Warrior was born. It was in April 2019 when I went to Joondalup Health Campus to have a check-up on my heart. Our pastor at the time was Phil McCourt Senior Pastor of Encounter City Church; Girrawheen Western Australia.

Tests & Investigations - revealed that I had 88% blockages in my heart, and a stent was not going to make things better. It was decided after seeing a Cardiologist that I needed heart surgery. It was June 22nd 2019, when I had CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft) a triple bypass.

Surgery Results: The surgery went really well, and I walked the whole room when nurses came to get me to stand up. It wasn't long before I was moved to another ward for recovery and rehabilitation.

One night, during my sleep, I had a dream/vision of what birthed Open Heart Warrior.

I could see sand, and it seemed it was all about Outback Australia.
